Workwear Reimagined - The Rundown

On May 20th, Stahls' UK had the incredible opportunity to host Workwear Reimagined, a dynamic event that brought together forward-thinking designers, industry leaders, and creative minds to challenge the conventions of traditional work attire. Set against an atmosphere buzzing with innovation and collaboration, the event showcased bold new perspectives on functionality, identity, and style in the modern workplace. As we reflect on the conversations sparked and the ideas shared, we’re still feeling the energy and inspiration that filled the room. Here’s a look back at some of the standout moments, thought-provoking insights, and fresh takes that made Workwear Reimagined an event to remember.

The Statistics

First and foremost, Andy introduced the crowd to some interesting statistics

Did you know that the UK workwear market was valued at around £300 million in 2024?
The corporate workwear segment makes up 46% of that. – 138 million total.

If you secured just 1% of that market, you'd be securing 1.38 million in business. If we scale that down to an even more achievable sounding target, 0.1% of that market = £138,000 of business.

More than 5.5 million employees in the UK wear a uniform regularly.
The demand is growing, with a more fashion-conscious approach to workwear. With customers putting greater demand on the quality/ origin of products.
And here's the kicker: only a small fraction of these businesses are being served by specialist decorators. There’s room for you to carve out a niche. There is hardly anyone here with a strong marketing presence on these topics.

The Ethics

Next up, Stanley/Stella took to the stage to communicate the core values that define their brand; sustainability, transparency, and premium quality

Rooted in a strong eco-conscious philosophy, the brand emphasized its commitment to responsible sourcing, fair labor practices, and reducing environmental impact through every stage of production.

From using 100% organic cotton to minimizing water waste and avoiding harmful chemicals, Stanley/Stella’s approach to apparel goes beyond aesthetics, it’s about making a positive impact.

Their presentation showcased how their thoughtfully designed, customizable clothing range can support your growing interest in corporate workwear fulfillment, offering a solution that’s both stylish and sustainable.

The Practical

The final presentation of the event was led by Molly, who delivered an engaging and insightful walkthrough on the significance of the A.R.C.H. method when heat printing corporate workwear. Her session served as a practical deep dive into how to achieve optimal results and avoid scorching when applying heat transfers especially important for brands aiming to combine professionalism with long-lasting quality.

Molly's breakdown of the A.R.C.H. method was a fitting conclusion to the event, reinforcing the idea that thoughtful techniques and attention to detail are essential for delivering premium, durable corporate workwear.

At the end of this session, Molly opened up the floor to customer questions, one of which was how to tackle left chest placements (as seen in photo).

The End

As the final presentation wrapped up, the energy in the room remained high as attendees were treated to goody bags filled with Stanley/Stella and Stahls' samples and exclusive offers. Excitement peaked as the winner of our event prize draw for £100 of custom heat transfer credit was announced to a round of applause. The rest of the afternoon flowed into a lively session of networking, where guests connected over shared ideas and business opportunities. Meanwhile, hands-on heat press demonstrations drew curious crowds, offering a chance to test techniques, ask questions, and see the latest equipment in action.
