2024 Updates to the Garment Decoration Industry - DTF Same Day Despatch

The Garment Decorators Podcast is back!

2024 has been a busy one for Stahls' UK filled with trade show and exciting product launches. In this week's episode Andy and Molly sit down to catch you all up on what's been going on in the print industry recently.

A particularly favourable part of this episode is when Andy recaps the incredible Bella+Canvas X Stahls' UK collaboration that took place at Printwear and Promotion LIVE 2024 this year.

Before we get into it, let me just take a second and ask you, how fast is fast?

In the 'Amazon Prime' delivery era that we live in, it's easy to forget that a lot of businesses simply cannot replicate Prime production and delivery periods. There aren't many companies out there that offer a scale of operation that rivals online super-giant Amazon. It's pretty typical to expect a production period of 2-3 days, with a similar delivery period. Sometimes longer for custom products.

But not with Stahls' UK...

Stahls' brand new DTF Same Day Despatch policy came into effect the launch alongside the launch of the 1 metre UltraColour Max DTF Gang Sheet. SO now you can order ANY size of UltraColour Max DTF heat transfers by 8am and benefit from Same Day Despatch. It literally doesn't get any faster than that.

When Bella+Canvas approached Stahls' UK for the P&PLIVE customisation station collaboration, we knew it would be a popular one. We sent ahead a Hotronix Maxx Clam heat press and prepped around 400 DTF heat transfers for the length of the event. But never in our wildest dreams did we expect that the the experience would run out of heat transfers by the end of the 1st day. With two days of the event left, Andy logged onto custom.stahls.co.uk at about 5pm and placed his next order.

The transfers were manufactured between 8am-10am the following day and after a quick word with the despatch department, they were loaded on to a bike courier and whizzed up and across the country from Braintree, Essex to Birmingham within hours. In less than 24 hours, the Bella+Canvas UltraColour Max heat transfer stock was replenished and the show could go on.

Find out what else you missed at Printwear and Promotion LIVE 2024 including the launch of the brand new ProPlace IQ in this weeks podcast episode.
