How to Achieve Neon Effect Heat Transfers

Achieveing a Neon Effect with UltraColour Heat Transfers.

Did you know, 1-5 Colour Screen Printed Heat Transfers offer the use of neon inks free of charge? They are extremely effective and eye-catching.

So why are we talking about achieving neon finishes with UltraColour heat transfers when there's already a product that offers the real thing?

If you're working with polyester garments that are heat sensitive, unless you want to give your clients products with scorch marks, you're going to need to swap to a lower temperature transfer. Screen Printed Heat Transfers fuse at 160°C which rules out most poly-blend garments and starts to limit what you can print onto.

UltraColour Heat Transfers, however, are the world's lowest fusing temperature transfer choice. Fusing at just 120°C, you can use these heat transfers on any product or garment ever.

They're also the world's #1 full-colour heat transfer choice and the most economical option for your business. As your quantity of sheets increases, your price per sheet will decrease with price points as low as £3.07 per sheet when purchasing 100 sheets, or £2.58 per sheet when purchasing 200.

UltraColour Heat Transfers offer unlimited colour choices, fine detail and a photorealistic finish meaning you can achieve a fully digital finish with these heat transfers.

The large array of colour choices also means that you can achieve a neon-style finish with the correct colour combinations.

Colours like Electric Yellow and Fuschia are vibrant and powerful choices that are reminiscent of neon tones. But when paired with the wrong colour garment, even the most powerful of colours can appear dull and drab, so planning your garments is the most important step of achieving a neon effect with UltraColour Heat Transfers

The Most Important Rule:

In order to achieve a neon effect with UltraColour heat transfers, you must choose two colours from the opposite ends of the colour wheel.

In the example here, we have drawn a straight line linking two colours together.

Red meets Ice Blue. Electric Yellow meets Royal Blue, Lime Green meets Fuschia, and so on.

This is the simplest and most effective way to achieve a neon effect without actually using a pantone matched neon-ink screen printed transfer.

Printing Neon Effect Garments

Once you've chosen your two colours, select one for your garment colour and use the other in your transfer design.

Here you can see we have chosen a JH001 hoodie in Festival Fuschia and paired it with a transfer where the only colour other than black, is Lime Green. The outcome is very convincing! By spending an extra moment considering our colour choices we've managed to achieve a neon effect with the most economic heat transfer option available.
